Despite pitching all season with an injured right knee, Looper set a career high of 14 wins (also a team high.) Looper ended the season with a 5.22 ERA and a league high of 123 runs allowed. Looper was reliable in that he never missed a start, but he had the second highest run support in the entire league. At the close of the season, Looper underwent minor surgery for his knee.
