Corey Koskie
Corey Koskie made his Major League debut in September 1998 for the Minnesota Twins and continued on the team through 2004. Currently he plays third base for the Milwaukee Brewers, when he was traded by the Toronto Blue Jays for minor-league pitcher Brian Wolfe. Through the 2006 Koskie has 124 home runs, 936 hits and an overall batting average of .275. He bats left-handed and throws right-handed. Noted as one of the most prominent Canadians currently playing, Corey Koskie missed most of the 2006 season with an injury. This was not the first time an injury has shortened playing time for Koskie and will continue with Koskie being on the 15-day disabled list as the 2007 gets underway with post-concussion syndrome. Ever the athlete, Koskie played baseball, hockey and volleyball while attending Springfield Collegiate High School, and continued to do so in his college years. He is married and has three sons and an active member of the community. The concussion Koskie sufferd on July 5, 2006 has kept him sidelined for the foreseeable future. Having missed the entire 2007 season, and with the 2008 season underway, it looks like Koskie might never return to major league baseball. © 2010 MilwaukeeBrewersTicket.net Terms of Service |
