More Info
A Wisconsin native, catcher, Damian Miller came to the Milwaukee Brewers in 2005. He attended Viterbo University and majored in Business. While playing baseball for the University, they came within one game of reaching the NAIA World Series.

Married with two children, Damian Miller made his Major League debut with the Minnesota Twins in August 1997.

Having played with the Minnesota Twins, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Chicago Cubs and the Oakland A’s, it was an honor to be named to the National League All-Star team in 2002. Last season with the Milwaukee Brewers, Damian Miller started 98 games behind the plate, with the resulting team record in those games of 49-49. He also tied his career high with a 10-game hitting streak which struck in May 2006, although slipped to 13 hits in his last 70 at-bats.

In a 2007 Spring Training game against the Texas Rangers, Miller went 2-3, hitting a home run and a two-run double to bring the Brewers, a sign that last years drought might be over. Miller may be asked by Manager Yost to play third base in a pinch. As a free agent, prior to the 2005 season, Damian Miller signed a three-year, $8.75 million contract.

Damian Miller played half the games he played in 2006. His fielding percentage was .997. Damian Miller left the Milwaukee Brewers at the end of the 2007 season.
