David Riske must have something special, because the Brewers signed him to a three-year deal. A native of Washington state, David has bounced around the major leagues in his past seven years as a pro.

With stints in Minnesota, Cleveland (where he spent five years,) Boston, and Kansas City he now resides on Bernie Brewer’s team. His 2007 stats include: Holding lefties to an average of .202 and righties to.265, earned a win against Milwaukee, had four saves, and finally signed with the Milwaukee Brewers in December. Riske’s best season in the majors was back in 2003, where he was closer for the Indians for the last 42 days of the season. Lefties could barely hit against him, batting a league low .138. In 2005, his fourteen scoreless innings as a closer was a record for the Cleveland club. During the off season, Riske resides in Henderson Nevada.
