More Info
Ray Durham went from high school ball to the Gulf Coast White Sox minor league team. Durham resides in North Carolina during the off season.
Ray started playing for the Chicago White Sox in 1995. In Chicago, Durham stayed at the top of the rotation. His numbers in Chicago were impressive. He left Chicago with the club record for lead off homers.
In 2002, Durham was traded to the Oakland Athlectics. It was expected that Ray would move on at the end of that season, and that came true when he signed with the San Francisco Giants.
As a Giant, Ray's numbers becan to decline. Hamstring injuries contributed to the fall. The Milwaukee Brewers picked up Ray in July of 2008, to add another left handed batter to the roster.
Ray looks forward to contributing to the Brewer's current success.
